Synopsis:
Despite an amendment to the Singapore penal code in 2007, homosexual sex continues to be a criminal offence under Section 377A. A call for repeal of the openly discriminatory act saw a debate in the parliament but left the issue unresolved. In this dance-for-camera work, three Singaporean artists respond to the homophobic diatribes of a member of parliament which forms the soundscape to this video. The intention here is not necessarily to make further comments on the issue but to propose dance as a plausible voice in social debate
