After dropping out of college, KITANO knocks on the door of France-za, a striptease theater in Asakusa, and begins his training as a vaudevillian. There he meets SENZABURO FUKAMI, who becomes his life-long mentor, and aspiring writer MASAYOSHI INOUE, with whom he trains together. He also develops friendship with many cheerful strip dancers.
