内容简介：

《食指》拍摄了一位影响过一代人而后完全被湮没的诗人。由于他特殊的身份，和动荡时代密切相关的命运，对人物的描述难免不涉及历史。但作者的兴趣显然不在于此，不在于诗人的人生际遇以及它可能揭示的社会意义。他使用各种不同的资料，包括一些象征性历史时刻的影像、老照片、访问、字幕，呈现了诗人的生命历程和它的背景；同时还插入了一段场景戏剧的表演：食指的诗作《疯狗》获得了形象化的演绎，通过这一则荒谬的生存寓言，作者表达了自己对一个诗人和他的命运的理解。

This video features a famous Chinese poet, Forefinger, who had influence on one generation during the Culture Revolutionary of China, he suffers from mental diseases and is now almost forgotten by the public.  The video uses all kinds of material, including clips of news reel, old photos, interviews, subtitles, revealed the life journey of the poet with the background.  One fictional scene was added in the documentary video, which  demonstrates “Mad Dog” written by Forefinger. In this poem, the author expressed his understanding to his fate as a poet.
