梗概Synopsis

在陕北，那些从农村来到城里讨生活的三轮车夫都自称受苦人。他们费尽千辛万苦，终于把孩子送上了远方的大学。四年过去了，大孩子找不到工作，前途未卜，更小的孩子又到了考大学的年龄。仿佛出于本能，一家人仍然像母鸡孵蛋一样，等待着新的希望破壳而出。

时间见证一切,无论是生的艰辛，还是爱的痛楚。社会在车轮前面急剧变化，各种价值观如同浮冰一样互相碰撞。但对于这些三轮车夫来说,他们认准了一条路，然后就闷头往前奔,不计后果，不计付出!那是一股怎样的内心力量!既愚笨又睿智,既平静又汹涌,永不枯竭，永不停息.

In the north of shann'xi province, the poorest region in china, there's a large group of tricycle drivers who had left their farmland to make a living in the small city. They place all their hopes on their kids and believe their life will be changed when the kids enter the university.  Four years past, when the oldest kid finally graduate from the university and suddenly find there's no job waiting for her, the family has already begun another battle of the college competition for the little kid. By a kind of instinct  the whole  family  like a hen is carefully  hatching for another new hope.

Time could witness everything, no matter  the hardship of life or the pain of  love. Living in a rapid changing world, when different values like the floating iceberg collides with each other and everything become so fragile, the tricycle drivers never shows any hesitation on their way forward ignoring everything even the result.  What kind of inner strength it is ! stupid and wise, peaceful and  turbulent, inexhaustible and non-stop
