Raid (Kai Lehtinen) returns to Finland, two years after the events of TV-series. His old sweetheart Tarja (Mari Rantasila) appears to have died in an arson that somehow connects to a deal that Finnish Goverment is preparing with not so-reputable businessman.
Meanwhile, Jansson (the one and only Oiva Lohtander) investigates the arson and finds out that Tarja is indeed alive and hired killers are on her tail...
Like TV-series, movie takes place few years in the future (though Tarja Halonen is still president) and examines how globalisation and corporations remove power from sovereign nations. Whether or not it's effective in this goal, I let you form that opinion yourself.
Acting is top-notch along the lines, with Lohtander taking the points as flegmatic Jansson. Dialogue is excellent and punch lines work like a charm. Direction works well, expect in few scenes.
Very enjoyable movie with a message (sort of at least), some twisted morality and sick humor. Go and see, 9/10
