王文海

王文海1982生于中国广州。他自小热爱电影，长大后借用亲戚的家用DV，拍摄了第一部反应中国独生子女的短片《1980》，随即受到关注，并被主流报刊专版报道。2005年他考入北京电影学院导演系，拍摄的学生作业，后被北京电影学院作为优秀作品，收录为教学材料。　　王文海毕业后，参加多个电影剧组，并开始担任电影副导演工作。
2008年，王文海开始独立创作。他拍摄记录片《The moment》，以独立新颖的方式，记录一个少女自杀的同时，这个城市不同地方发生的状态。
在剧情片方面，王文海用黑白的影像拍摄了《没事儿》和《游乐园赠票》，《没事儿》全片只用了一个长镜头去拍摄北京奥运开幕当天两个男人分手的故事，而《游乐园赠票》通过一个身患绝症的青年向路人送游乐园门票，反应现在中国社会人们之间的隔膜。
随后，王文海再尝试新的类型，他拍摄了试验科幻片《闭眼，醒来》。
而于2009年6月，王文海完成了他最新的作品《基里巴斯》。
王文海作为中国第一代改革开放后出生的导演，成长在充满变化的社会里，独生子女的背景和高人口密度的城市，让他对身边的故事有了近距离的关注和独立的思考。

Biography
Wong Men Hoi (Mandarin: Wang Wen Hai, born 1982 Guangzhou) belongs to first generation Chinese film directors born after the «Reforms and Opening up». Belonging to the one-child generation that grew up during the economic reforms that has shaped today′s China. He is a modern Chinese voice depicting his own society. He moved to Beijing in 2005 to study film directing at the Beijing Film academy. He has made several independent short films and are currently working freelance with different film projects in China.
