瑞典哥德堡本土的一支以“忧郁情绪＆优美旋律”为特色的阴暗金属乐队Forest Of Shadows（还未出版的最新一集哈里.波特名字叫《Harry Potter and the Forest of Shadows》）它是Niclas Frohagen1997年建立的个人乐队（98年Micce Andersson作为固定成员加入），录制的第一首demo是“Under the Dying Sun”，拿他自己的话说，最初除了创作其它什么都不懂，踏出的每一步都象在恶梦中。随后几张demo的歌都很长，首首催人泪下，在乐队98年demo之后，音乐中加入了长笛，使那种伤感的情绪越发明显，在这点上乐队就不仅仅和Katatonia, My Dying Bride形似；更与2000年前的Empyrium神似（当Forest of Shadows偶然间清声唱出时，与Empyrium极为相似）；nicals特别喜欢哥特厄运金属乐队Katatonia，其翻唱的“Rainroom”丝毫不亚于原作。

Forest of Shadows来自瑞典，只出过一张三首歌曲的EP。
乐风相似传统DOOM，缓慢沉重，但比Thergothon等老牌乐队有更强的旋律性。
Eternal Autumn是专辑第一首，悠扬的长笛独奏开篇，饱满厚重的吉它RIFF贯穿，死腔和清音咆哮吟唱。
第一次听到他们的作品是在别人传给我的众多乐队作品中。
怎么形容。。魔力？
你在看书，音乐只是在堵你的耳朵。。
可当那段长笛悠扬的响起的时候，
