概述:: 电影节概述:入选影片最迟在5月底接到通知。、
主竞赛单元影片必须是2009年1月1日之后完成的35mm电影，并且此前没有在任何国际电影节参加过竞赛，必须是在本电影节进行全球，国际或欧洲首映。
2、纪录片竞赛单元：长片短片均可。
3、东部电影竞赛单元（East of the West - Films）仅面向东欧及前苏联国家的影片。
4、独立电影论坛：面向全球独立电影。（含竞赛）

分为已下竞赛单元和非竞赛单元：

Official Selection - Competition of Feature Films
Only 35mm films made after the January 1, 2009 which have not been previously shown in an international competition of another film festival can be included; the films must be presented as World, International or European Premieres
Documentary Films in Competition
Both short and full length
East of the West - Films in Competition
Feature-length films from Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union
Forum of Independents
Independent films from around the world compete for Independent Camera Award　

非竞赛单元：
Open Eyes (fresh from Cannes and other outstanding films)
Horizons (the recent productions from around the world, including festival highlights and award-winners from other festivals)
Another View (films revealing unusual artistic approaches)
Variety Critics´ Choice (ten European films selected by the critics of the Variety magazine - please kindly note that it is not possible to apply for this section)　
Czech Films

奖金：

Grand Prix - Crystal Globe 30,000 USD
Special Jury Prize　20,000 USD.
Best Documentary Film under 30 minutes long (5,000 USD)
Best Documentary Film over 30 minutes long (5,000 USD)
East of the West Award (10,000 USD)
