鲜为人知的湖南绥宁县是一个普通却充满魔幻的地方。作为西昌卫星发射中心发射出的火箭残骸的理论落点，它从1990年始至今近20年的时间里，先后数十次地迎接了从天而降的火箭残骸。这种神秘而危险的“天外来客”打破了落点辖区内16万当地人贫穷而平静的生活。

2008年是中国的“奥运年”和“航天年”。绥宁人民在跟全国人民一样期待奥运关注奥运，并为包括航天实力在内的综合国力的日益强大而由衷骄傲的同时，也不得不再次承受从天而降的宿命。

As a little-known place, Suining County lies directly in the path of falling debris from the Xichang Satellite Launching Base— one of　the three Satellite Launching Bases in China. And for nearly 20 years, since 1990, it has been visited by those the dangerous “aliens” from the skies on ten occasions. The wreckage smashed into the tranquil lives of the 160,000 impoverished inhabitants of the landing area。

2008 is the “Olympic Year” as well as the “Space Year” for China. While the people of Suining eagerly awaited the Olympic Games like their fellow countrymen and get proud of the development of their nation especially in space exploration they had to endure　the fate of missile wreckage falling on their heads.

导演简介 Bio-filmography of Director：
张赞波，70年代人，出生于湖南，2005年北京电影学院导演系硕士毕业，以独立影评人身份在多家媒体开设电影专栏，迄今在各类电影刊物发表数十万字电影评论和研究文字。间或从事故事片和纪录片的编导工作。《天降》是他的第一部记录长片。
Zhang zanbo, born in 1970’s, graduated with a Master degree in Film Direction from Beijing Film Academy in 2005. He has published hundreds of thousands of words in film critiques as a freelance film critic and research in many kinds of film publication, and founding film columns in various media. He has been engaged in long term fiction and documentary film projects as a writer and director.　Falling From the Sky is his first long documentary work.

方家胡同46号院
1.雍和宫方向（北二环雍和宫桥）往南，国子监南边的第一条胡同就是方家胡同，进方家胡同步行大约300米左手边的46号大院。
2. 方家胡同位于安定门内大街上，安定门和交道口中间。从这两个地方走的路程差不多。见到方家胡同进来大约200米右手边的46号大院。

开车：方家胡同为单行道，方向为西向东。需要从交道口方向向北，过了交道口路口之后的第一个红绿灯右边的胡同就是方家胡同。
18:00后，可从雍和宫大街进国子监胡同孔庙停车场。猜火车设有工作人员引路。

地铁：
1.二号线地铁安定门站东北口出，向南走，国子监南的第一个胡同为方家胡同。
2.五号线地铁北新桥站A口出，向北走，大约200米左手边就会看到方家胡同。

公交：104路等等很多车都有一站叫方家胡同，并且其他公交车在国子监、安定门站、北新桥站下都可到达。可以到这里去查看乘车路线www.bjbus.com
