4月28日，在美国阿拉斯加上空出现的神妙的北极光。北极光是由于太阳喷射的带电粒子
撞击到地球的大气层上而引起的一种光学效应，本来只能在北极圈附近及以北的地区才能
看到，但由于今年是周期为11年的太阳活动期，随太阳风吹向地球的带电粒子数量和强度
都大为增加，因而在很多地区都出现了极光。(
